Dating profile photos have a specific job that a normal portrait session does not: they have to look natural rather than staged, hold up across two or three different platforms, and actually look like you when someone meets you in person. That means less posing than a portrait session and more genuine, in-motion, “caught in a good moment” photography, usually across a couple of outfits and one or two locations.
What the session looks like
We start with what you actually want the photos to say — approachable, put-together, outdoorsy, whatever fits. Then a short shoot, usually under an hour, split between one or two locations with a couple of outfit changes. Coffee shops, a park, a neighborhood you like, or the studio if you would rather keep it simple. The goal is a set where at least four or five photos genuinely work: a clear face shot, a full-body shot, something that shows you doing an activity you actually enjoy, and something with other people if that is honest to your life.
What you get
A small, curated set of fully edited images rather than a large gallery — this is not a session designed to produce forty images, it is designed to produce the five or six that actually work across your profiles.
Booking it
This is usually a shorter, simpler booking than a full portrait session, so get in touch and tell me what you are after and I will quote it honestly rather than pricing it like a family session it is not.
